About the Course

The Professional Hairstyling Course is the most comprehensive hairstyling training at Glamour International Academy. With 16 classes covering everything from blow drying fundamentals to advanced editorial and bridal techniques, this program transforms you into a versatile, professional hairstylist ready to work in any setting.

Groups are limited to 5 students, so you receive the personalised attention and hands-on practice that larger schools simply cannot offer.

By the time you finish, you will have mastered every major hairstyling technique, from everyday salon styles to high-fashion editorial looks. You will walk away with a professional certification, a strong portfolio, and the confidence to take on any hairstyling challenge.

Classes are small groups (max. 5 people) so we guarantee you personalised and focused attention from the teacher that you will not receive in big group classes in other schools.

The course will be offered in different ways so you can choose the one that suits you best:

•1 class per week: Learn at a relaxed pace, one session per week.

•2 classes per week: Attend twice a week and complete the program in half the time.

•Personalised (Private): We will adjust the classes for you to finish as fast as possible or according to your schedule (subject to availability, special rates apply) — just ask!

•Express / Intensive: Daily classes to complete the program in the shortest time possible. Ideal for international students or anyone who wants an intensive format. Maximum 2 payments (one at booking, one at start).

Because of the amount of international students our classes are in English with translation to Dutch or Spanish.

In the Professional Hairstyling Course, you will learn:

•Hairstyling Theory and Preparation: Tools, products, and hair preparation basics.

•Blow Dry Techniques: Sleek, voluminous, and textured styles for all hair types.

•Curls and Waves: Loose curls, Hollywood waves, and beach waves.

•Advanced Braids: French, fishtail, and cascading braids.

•Low Updos: Romantic and classic styles for special occasions.

•Medium Updos: Balanced and modern designs.

•High Updos: Structured buns with volume and texture.

•Editorial and Runway: High ponytails, wet looks, and ultra-sleek styles.

•Short Hair and Men's Styles: Elegant designs for short hair and trendy men's looks.

•Styling Curly Hair: Define, style, and control natural curls for any event.

•Building and maintaining a professional hairstyling kit.

Materials

As part of your enrollment in the Professional Hairstyling Course, you will receive a thoughtfully curated starter kit with essential professional materials including combs, brushes, and styling products from recognised brands like Schwarzkopf, designed to support your training from day one.

Students who pay in full when enrolling receive the starter kit for free, included in the course price. Students who choose to pay in installments must pay an additional materials fee of €150 before the course begins.

Throughout your training you will have unlimited access to the academy's full range of professional products at no extra cost. You are also welcome to bring any additional materials of your own.

Hot tools (hair dryer, flat iron, curling iron) are at the student's expense. We will provide you with a list of recommended tools upon enrollment.

For some classes you will need to bring a model to practice on. You will be informed of which classes require one once you are enrolled, and we are happy to help you find someone if needed.

Prices

•Group Lessons (up to 5 people): €2,200 (starter kit included*).

•Private Lessons (1-2 people): €2,750 (starter kit included*).

•Express / Intensive (1-on-1 private): €2,750 (starter kit included*).

Our courses are tax-free, meaning you do not pay additional taxes on the course amount. Additionally, you can include the course as an education expense in your yearly tax declaration, encompassing materials and related costs.

Flexible Payment Options

To make your education investment more accessible, we offer flexible installment plans for residents of the Netherlands, allowing you to split the total cost over 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, or 12 monthly payments.

For plans with 2, 3, 4, or 6 installments, a 5% additional fee is applied to the total amount. For plans with 9 or 12 installments, an 8% additional fee is applied to the total amount.

•6 installments: €385.00 per month (total: €2,310.00).

•9 installments: €264.00 per month (total: €2,376.00).

•12 installments: €198.00 per month (total: €2,376.00).

Private Lessons (1-2 people):

•2 installments: €1,443.75 per month (total: €2,887.50).

•3 installments: €962.50 per month (total: €2,887.50).

•4 installments: €721.88 per month (total: €2,887.50).

•6 installments: €481.25 per month (total: €2,887.50).

•9 installments: €330.00 per month (total: €2,970.00).

•12 installments: €247.50 per month (total: €2,970.00).

Express / Intensive (1-on-1 private, residents of the Netherlands):

•50% to reserve the course: €1,375.00.

•50% on the first day of class: €1,375.00.

For International Students:

Secure your spot with a €300 deposit (non-refundable after 14 days). The remaining balance is due on the first day of the course.

*Starter kit included for students who pay in full when enrolling. International students and Express students who select a payment plan receive the kit upon paying the additional materials fee of €150.
