About the Course

The Makeup Artistry Program is the most complete and ambitious makeup training at Glamour International Academy. Over 20 classes, you will master every major makeup technique, from flawless bridal looks to bold editorial creations, glass skin to avant-garde designs, and everything in between.

Taught in groups of no more than 5 students, this program provides the personalised attention, premium materials, and real-world practice that set our graduates apart. You will build a strong professional portfolio through 17 photoshoots, and leave with a prestigious Makeup Artist certification recognised across the industry.

Classes are small groups (max. 5 people) so we guarantee you personalised and focused attention from the teacher that you will not receive in big group classes in other schools.

The course will be offered in different ways so you can choose the one that suits you best:

•1 class per week: Learn at a relaxed pace, one session per week.

•2 classes per week: Attend twice a week and complete the program in half the time.

•Personalised (Private): We will adjust the classes for you to finish as fast as possible or according to your schedule (subject to availability, special rates apply) — just ask!

•Express / Intensive: Daily classes to complete the program in the shortest time possible. Ideal for international students or anyone who wants an intensive format. Maximum 2 payments (one at booking, one at start).

Because of the amount of international students our classes are in English with translation to Dutch or Spanish.

In the Makeup Artistry Program, you will learn:

•Application of foundation, contouring, highlighting, and blush techniques for different face shapes.

•Eyebrow shaping and styling, including natural and defined looks.

•Daytime makeup techniques for subtle, neutral looks.

•Evening makeup techniques, including smokey eyes, halo eyes, and glamorous styles.

•Mastery of false eyelash application, including individual, classic, and "doll lashes" effects.

•Advanced eyeshadow techniques, including cut crease, full cut crease, and graphic designs.

•Bridal makeup techniques for both natural and glamorous styles, suitable for various settings and lighting conditions.

•Techniques for makeup on mature skin, emphasizing smoothness and natural enhancement.

•Techniques for makeup on dark skin, focusing on color matching and enhancing natural features.

•Editorial makeup styles, including monochromatic, graphic, and avant-garde designs.

•Creation of creative makeup looks using unconventional materials like rhinestones, pearls, feathers, clips, and buttons.

•Techniques for achieving glass skin and blurred lips for modern, trend-forward looks.

•Makeup design for black-and-white photography and high-definition video.

•Understanding facial anatomy and working with unique features to enhance natural beauty.

•Building and maintaining a professional makeup kit.

Materials

As part of your enrollment in the Makeup Artistry Program, you will receive a thoughtfully curated starter kit from MAC Cosmetics and other professional brands, including brushes, hygiene materials, a palette of foundations, concealers, primer, and skincare.

Students who pay in full when enrolling receive the starter kit for free, included in the course price. Students who choose to pay in installments must pay an additional materials fee of €300 before the course begins.

Throughout your training you will have unlimited access to the academy's full range of professional products at no extra cost. You are also welcome to bring any additional materials of your own.

For some classes you will need to bring a model to practice on. You will be informed of which classes require one once you are enrolled, and we are happy to help you find someone if needed.

Prices

•Group Lessons (up to 5 people): €2,790 (starter kit included*).

•Private Lessons (1-2 people): €3,490 (starter kit included*).

•Express / Intensive (1-on-1 private): €3,490 (starter kit included*).

Our courses are tax-free, meaning you do not pay additional taxes on the course amount. Additionally, you can include the course as an education expense in your yearly tax declaration, encompassing materials and related costs.

Flexible Payment Options

To make your education investment more accessible, we offer flexible installment plans for residents of the Netherlands, allowing you to split the total cost over 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, or 12 monthly payments.

For plans with 2 or 3 installments, a 5% additional fee is applied to the total amount. For plans with 4, 6, 9, or 12 installments, an 8% additional fee is applied to the total amount.

Private Lessons (1-2 people):

Express / Intensive (1-on-1 private, residents of the Netherlands):

•50% to reserve the course: €1,745.00.

•50% on the first day of class: €1,745.00.

Secure your spot with a €300 deposit (non-refundable after 14 days). The remaining balance is due on the first day of the course.

*Starter kit included for students who pay in full when enrolling. International students and Express students who select a payment plan receive the kit upon paying the additional materials fee of €300.
