About the Course
The Basic + SPA Manicure Course is your first step into professional nail styling. Over 3 classes, you will learn the theory, hygiene standards, and hands-on techniques that form the foundation of every nail service. You will practice on yourself first and then on a model, so you build confidence and precision before working on clients.
You will receive a starter kit with basic manicure tools, a lamp, and base and top coat, so you can continue practising after the course.
Classes are small groups (max. 4 people) so we guarantee you personalised and focused attention from the teacher that you won't receive in big group classes in other schools.
Because of the amount of international students our classes are in English with translation to Dutch or Spanish.
Content of the Course
In the Basic + SPA Manicure Course, you will learn:
• Professional nail hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Nail anatomy, skin types, and basic contraindications.
• Filing techniques and nail shaping for different styles.
• Cuticle care: pushing, trimming, and maintenance.
• SPA manicure: hand massage, exfoliation, and hydration.
• Polish application: prep, base coat, colour, and top coat.

Prices
• Group Lessons (up to 4 people): €675.
• Private Lessons (1-2 people): €1,015.
Our courses are tax-free, meaning you don't pay additional taxes on the course amount. Additionally, you can include the course as an education expense in your yearly tax declaration, encompassing materials and related costs.
Flexible Payment Options
For plans with 2 installments, a 5% additional fee is applied to the total amount.
Installment Breakdown:
• Group: 2 installments of €354.38 (total: €708.75).
• Private: 2 installments of €532.88 (total: €1,065.75).
For International Students:
Secure your spot with a €300 deposit (non-refundable after 14 days). The remaining balance is due on the first day of the course.
Materials
The course includes a starter kit with basic manicure tools (cuticle nippers, nail clippers, files, cuticle pusher, etc.), a lamp, and base and top coat.
Throughout your training you will have unlimited access to the academy's full range of professional products at no extra cost.
Certification
At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate as proof of completion for you to add it to your professional achievements.
Our School
We are an approved member of the International Union for Makeup and Hairstylist Education.
We can prepare you for the exam at the Kwaliteitscentrum Uiterlijke Verzorging Branche Diploma Visagie if you wish to take that test.
We are also registered at the Dutch CRKBO which means that our courses are VAT-free, because of this, you do not pay any taxes over the course's price and also, the course can be included for deductions in the yearly tax declaration as education expenses (including what you spend in materials and related expenses). Address
The courses are held at the following location: Koninginnegracht 101, 2514 AL, Den Haag.
Public transportation: you can come by tram 9 and get off at the stop Riouwstraat. If you are coming from other cities, you can take tram 9 either from the Den Haag Central Station or from Den Haag Hollands Spoor.
If you are coming by car: the location is near the Centrumring providing a direct connection to the national highway network (A4 The Hague - Amsterdam, A12 The Hague - Utrecht, A13 The Hague - Rotterdam) via Koningskade and Zuid-Hollandlaan.
Parking: there are parking places on the streets surrounding the location. The cost is €2,60 per hour Monday to Friday from 9:00 until 17:00, evenings and weekends are free.
Children or extra companions are NOT allowed in class.
